Who we are

CrestQA Data-AI Ltd ("we", "us") is the controller of personal data collected through this website. For any privacy question or request, email info@crestqa.co.

What we collect

  • Enquiries: your name, work email, organisation, country, area of interest and message when you use the contact form.
  • Newsletter: your email address and language preference when you subscribe.
  • Preferences: your cookie choice and selected region, stored only in your own browser.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security, and, only if you opt in, aggregated usage statistics.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential engagement: our legitimate interests and, where relevant, steps prior to entering a contract.
  • To send the newsletter you asked for: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the site secure and working: our legitimate interests.
  • To understand how the site is used: your consent, given through the cookie banner.

Who we share it with

We use carefully selected service providers acting on our instructions: a managed cloud database to store enquiries and subscriptions, a hosting and content-delivery provider to serve the website, and, if you consent, a privacy-friendly analytics provider. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where data leaves the UK or European Economic Area we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you unless an engagement follows. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for no more than 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, email info@crestqa.co. You can also complain to your data protection authority, for example the UK Information Commissioner's Office, the authority in your EU member state or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version above.
